Three things that scare me:
1: bees.
2: unfamiliar crowds.
3: bankruptcy.

Three people who make me laugh:
1: the hubby.

1: the fam.
2: getting fetal with a new book.

3: clams oregenata (and most other foods).

Three Things I hate:
1: unruly, impolite crowds.
2: dieting.
3: closed minds.

Three things I don’t understand:
1: extreme stereotypical girliness. (this includes celebrity worship, beauty regimens, and designer-lust)

2: world of warcraft.
3: cultures that are strict with their daughters.

Three things on my desk:
1: reference books.
2: self-help books (for blogging about)
3: empty glasses/mugs that i keep forgetting to transport to the dishwasher.

Three things I’m doing right now:
1: waiting for more stories to proof.
2: worrying about routledge-stuff.

3: considering the pros and cons of going to a reading tonight.

Three things I want to do before I die:
1: hang gliding.
2: motherhood.

3: burning man.

Three things I can do:
1: tell the future.

2: sing prettily.
3: bake xmas cookies (i have trouble with all other kitchen-related activities).

Three ways to describe my personality:
1: enigmatic.
2: shy.
3: obsessive.

Three things I can’t do:
1: anything beyond basic math (hallelujah)
2: stand up to insane authors to the extent that I should (amen)
3: run a mile (we’re totally twins!)

what is your worst fear?: to lose my direction, and end up perpetually purposeless.

worst weakness?: it changes from week to week. at the moment: string cheese.

realizing things about the world?: my memory’s not so hot.

what’s the worst trait a person could have?: the stubborn resistance to new ideas.

would you die for someone else in order to save their life?: let’s see what happens in the heat of the moment.

do you lie to make yourself/other people happy?: that’s ridiculous!

whats your biggest pet peeve?: drivers who don’t use their blinkers.

what do you hate most about yourself?: my social anxiety.

do you contemplate life after death, and what do you conclude when you do?: these types of things never occur to me.

what do you think about dreams?: they stay with me, sometimes in an uncomfortable way.

nightmares?: ditto.

do they hold any truth?: i think so.

do you think life is too short?: no.

what is the worst death possible for you to have to go through?: death by multiple bee stings?

what’s your preferred way of dying?: just drifting away, asleep.

and at what age?: 70.

do you feel immortal? have you ever?: i’m incredibly unhealthy. it’s a miracle i’m still alive. human beings are incredibly resilient, i suppose.

are you afraid of any person?: like intimidated?

do you believe in past lives?: one can never be sure.

when are you most happy?: in bed. either reading for hours or being the small spoon.
what was your favorite childhood game/activity?: hungry hungry hippos was pretty awesome.

current favorite movie(s)?: just saw juno. it was awesome.

current favorite band(s)?: the killers and franz ferdinand. oh! leslie and the lys!
current favorite song(s)?: okay, this is really embarrassing, but here you have it: hannah montana’s “see you again.”
